We offer a variety of neurosurgical procedures (treatments) for patients, ranging from deep brain stimulation to neuro-endoscopy. More information on our neurosurgery treatment options is available below:

Deep Brain Stimulation
Deep brain stimulation involves implanting electrodes within the part of your brain that affects mood. During deep brain stimulation, electrical impulses transmitted through the electrodes deep within the brain affect brain cells and chemicals to relieve depression.

Neuro-endoscopy
Neuro-endoscopy is a relatively new field in neurosurgery that has evolved and allowed for the safe and minimally-invasive treatment of deep seated tumors in the brain and skull base. A rigid fiberoptic lens with a working channel is used to visualize tumors within the ventricular system of the brain and permit excision or biopsy. With the use of a 3-6 mm endoscope, midline deep seated tumors can be removed with only a 5mm opening in the skull and a 2.5cam skin incision.

Stereotactic Neurosurgery
Stereotactic neurosurgery is a minimally invasive form of neurosurgery that involves 3D imaging to locate and treat small targets inside the body.

Craniotomy for Tumors
A craniotomy is a neurosurgical procedure in which a bone flap is removed from the skull to reach the tumor.
